Kershaw stifles punchless Mets, wins 1-0 (AP)
The added incentive behind Clayton Kershaw's stellar performance had more to do with a tired bullpen than the fact that it was his first start since appealing a five-game suspension. Kershaw scattered seven hits over eight innings and Russell Martin hit an eighth-inning RBI double in the Los Angeles Dodgers' 1-0 victory over the punchless New York Mets on Sunday.
